I can't believe it's the last day of January. This first month just flew by. Today is Beverly's birthday but she was working so we'll have to get together and celebrate later in the week. I feel so blessed because I couldn't ask for a better Mother-in-law. So with nothing to do, Brandon was helping a friend down the street, Mal went to the high school games and me and Ayden played with the hamsters. They are so cute rolling around in their little exercise ball. Still not very friendly yet but their gettin there. That was our exciting day ;) Until tomorrow......

Day 25 Monday January 30, 2012

Today was a nice day. Alittle windy but nice. When we got home the kids went straight outside. Mal did her pitching exercises like a good girl and Brandon and Ayden played catch. He's gettin ready to start practicing baseball again. I'm so excited! That is all ;) Until tomorrow......

Day 24 Sunday January 29, 2012

Not too much today. Had a lazy morning then Mal had practice at 2. Brandon went to Pauls Valley because his Grandad is in the hospital. He's been in there about a week and not doing too good. Please say alittle prayer. He went there while we went to practice. They ended up practicing for about 3 hours so that was most of the afternoon. It was so good to be outside in the dirt, even though us parents just sat there and cheered them on as we froze ;) So ready to watch them play! Then for dinner I made another great pinterest recipe, Foil Packed Chicken. It was awesome! I love that there is such a great website to share so many great ideas. Well that was our day. Day 23 Saturday January 28, 2012

Today was a busy Saturday. Slept in alil bit, made a yummy breakfast, cleaned house and got ready for b-ball and hockey. Mal had two b-ball games today at 4 & 6. They haven't played in over two weeks so they played alil rusty today......We lost both. But our day got better by gettin to go to the Barons game. Mal hasn't played a late game this whole season until today, when we have plans lol. Brandon's brother Bryan got all of us tickets thru his work. Rink side baby! He's the best! We got to see almost all of the game and had a blast. We forgot how much fun hockey games are! We will defiantly be going back! Until tomorrow......

Day 22 Friday January 27, 2012

Friday, Friday, Friday! That's the most excitement of the day! Got home, caught up on some Private Practice and laid around. Mal went to the Ampo vs Minco game with Michael and we stayed home and played with the hamsters. By the way, Ampo won! Both girls and boys! That is all ;) We'll have a much more exciting Saturday. Day 21 Thursday January 26, 2012

Today was not at crazy as our usual Thursday's, thank gosh. Except for Fuzz Fuzz biting me on the finger and drawing blood when I tried to get her out. Guess she's not that keen on me yet lol. Oh well, it's not even been a week yet. Mal is just lookin all crazy eyed waiting on me to take her to basketball practice. But first, Ayden got to play outside for alittle bit before it got too dark. I can't wait for the time change so it won't be dark so early. I think the kids agree ;) Burning off energy outside defiantly does them some good. Not to mention it helps mom and dad out alil too lol. Until tomorrow......

Day 20 Wednesday January 25

Nothing exciting today except American Idol on tv! Very busy day at work so I'm beat. My dogs are defiantly barkin today lol! Me and Ayden decided to make root beer floats while we watched idol. Yummy! Hump day is over, time to finish the week! Until tomorrow......

Day 19 Tuesday January 24, 2012

Today was the same as every January 24 since 2001. Sad. No matter how many years pass it always seems to hit me at one point during the day. Where I was, what I was doing. For those who might not know, me and Missie's brother, Terry Lynn Mayhugh was taken from us unexpectedly 11yrs ago today. I won't go into harsh details but it was a very bad situation of wrong place, wrong time. He left behind 2 wonderful kids in the picture below. Stanley is now 21 and Rashanda is almost 19. Man how time flys. He was the best son, brother and father that any family could ask for. We will always Love and Miss him everyday until we meet again. Love you Terry.

Day 18 Monday January 23, 2012

Well today was Monday. Yay. This pic is how i feel on Mondays. Nothing exciting, no plans or practice. The kids were out of school today so they thought it would be fun to sleep in the living room. Ayden stayed up till 5am doing God knows what and watching tv. I guess he wants to be nocturnal like his hamster lol. Needless to say he was a crank butt when I got home. Early bedtime tonight! Day 17 Sunday January 22, 2012

Good Sunday. First Mal had softball practice, then had some yummy lunch, then off to pick out 2 new family members. Both kids got a cute little hamster. Mallorie named hers Aspen(the one by the green slide) and Ayden named his Fuz Fuz. So far they don't wanna put them up, which I'm sure will wear off. We'll see ;) Until Tomorrow......

Day 16 Saturday January 21, 2012

Today=lazy day. Did some laundry, cleaned some house, watched some tv. Mal ended staying at her friends house and they ended up going to the b-ball games. Both Am-Po girls and boys were playing in the championship games in the Grady County tournament. The girls won for the 7th year in a row and the boys had a hard loss. Me and Brandon had a much needed night out with friends. In the pic of us I look kinda rough but it was 1am ;) Not use to being up so late anymore. Until tomorrow......

Let me tell you were are the party people! Mallorie went home with a friend to go to the Grady county tourn then spend the night, and we built Trio castles. The black and red one is the bad guys castle and the tan and blue one is the good guys castle. Let the war began! What a good Friday night ;) Until tomorrow......

Today was kinda a uneventful day. Somewhat busy day at work then off to Tuttle then the city for pitching and practice. On our way home we stopped at walmart and debated what Ayden was gonna take to school for snacks tomorrow. It seems like it always takes forever for him to decided or he changes his mind every 30 seconds. He went with peanut butter crackers this time. Nice choice ;) Until tomorrow......

Day 13 Wednesday January 18, 2012

Well today was kinda short and sweet. Very busy at work which made the day go by. Then bought a few groceries and things to make Ayden's 100th day shirt. Every year the kindergarden celebrate the 100th day of school by making a shirt with 100 things on it. Anything they want. So what does Ayden pick? Bells...... 100 bells. He wanted to use the googly eyes but somebody was already doing that. So, in order to attach bells to a shirt, what do ya have to do? Sew them on. Yes, one by one. And me, the procrastinator that I am, did all of this tonight. It took almost 2 hours but I got it done, all while watching American Idol ;) and Ayden will be able to gingle all the way to school. I'm sure Mrs. Treadaway will love me for this! We shall see! Until tomorrow......

Day 12 Tuesday January 17, 2012

Well my mind is on overload! Since I've been on pinterest I have sooo many projects I wanna do around the house. There is an idea, or two, or ten for each room. But I have to make myself narrow it down to one room at a time or nothing will ever get completed. We are starting with Mallorie's room first. She is at the age that the bedroom set she has is too little girlish for her. So grandpa Roger is gonna build her a whole new set. All I have to do is give him the measurements for what she wants. Then we will just paint and add little things to the room to make it suit her personality. We are both really excited! I love doing projects like this, it's just finding the time. Mal's room is the biggest project so we need to get it done before we are neck deep in softball and t-ball ;) Believe me, pictures will come as things are done! Until tomorrow......

Day 11 Monday January 16, 2012

Today was a pretty good Monday. Work was good and no practices tonight, just t-ball sign ups. Yay! It's about that time of year! Other than that we just lounged around the house. You know, Although all the sports keep us very busy, it also makes us very thankful for what we have and that we are able to provide for our kids so that they can play those sports. Within the last week crazy bad things have happened around here that involved people I know. Unbelievable things that caused two people to lose their lives. You hear bad things on the news all the time but when they hit too close to home it makes you realize what you have. You hug your family tighter, express you emotions more and live every day like it's your last. You can't take anyone or anything for granted. You have to keep your head up, keep your faith and keep moving on. I'll get off my soapbox now ;)) Until tomorrow....

Day 10 Sunday January 15, 2012

The second day of a great weekend. After a late night of fun at the Great Balls Of Fire bowling alley we all slept in alil this morning. We met up at Aunt Granny Sharon's to eat a small breakfast so we would have plenty of room for lunch. Once the time came, we loaded up and headed to Pete's, only the best Italian food EVER!! You get sooo much food that there is always plenty to take home and eat later. So after a bunch of food and alittle more chit chat it was time to say our goodbye's. We try to all get together once a month for birthdays but never seems to be enough. Especially this time cause late Saturday evening Michelle started feeling bad. So all night and all today she was in her room sicker than a dog. I felt so bad for her. But we'll make up for it next time ;) All in all it was a great weekend. Until tomorrow.....

Day 9 Saturday January 14, 2012

Today was a great day!! We drove to McAlester this morning. Once we got there me and Mal got or hair done by our favorite Aunty Cousin Chell! She did an awesome job! We both love our hair!! Later, we had fajitas, cheese dip, beans and rice, jalapeños stuffed with cream cheese and sausage wrapped in bacon and guacamole. All amazing!! Then we all loaded up and went to the new bowling ally. We had a great time with great family!! Until tomorrow....

Day 8 Friday January 13, 2012

It was a good Friday the 13th. Good day at work. Got some laundry done. Watched some dvr'd shows. Cooked dinner and made a new dessert off of Pinterest. Peanut butter chocolate chip crescent rolls. They were yuummmmy. Obviously the kids loved them ;) Now to pack a few things to get ready to head to McAlester early in the morning. Ready for a great weekend with the family! Until tomorrow.....

Day 7 Thursday January 12, 2012

I have to say Thursday is probably our busiest day of the week. Mallorie has pitching/hitting lessons from 4:15-5:45, softball practice from 5:30-7:00 and basketball practice from 6:45-8:45ish. Whew! That's too much in one day! But until basketball is over we will go to that practice so she does one each a week. Gotta keep up with both! But its not too bad because b-ball is just in Pocasset so I can drop her off and Brandon can go get her. The pic today is from the last tournament the girls won. I just wanted to share it cause they are such a great group of girls.....and great coaches ;) They are what makes it all worth while. Until tomorrow.....

Day 6 Wednesday January 11, 2012

Well not a bad Wednesday. Busy enough at work to make the day go by but not too much to kill me. Plus we celebrated birthdays for two girls at work with good grub. We all brought something and everything was delish, especially the Better Than Sex Cake. Then we were all on a sugar high and giggled the rest of the afternoon. I absolutely LOVE the girls I work with!! After work me and my Sis, Missie, went to the 2nd Base Savers meeting. I think we have decided to join their team and do the Susan G Komen 3 day walk again this year. It's such a great, life changing experience that we want to enjoy again. The picture above is why we walk. Me, Missie and our Mom Pam at the Race for the Cure in 2010. Our mom is a 11, almost 12 year breast cancer survivor. Anything we can do to help we will do and every step counts. But there will be more on that when we officially register ;) so Until tomorrow.......

Day 5 Tuesday January 10, 2012

Well we are back to normal Tuesday's. Rush home, eat something quick, change clothes then off to softball practice. Being that is still winter and cold we practice at the indoor facility until it warms up. As you can kinda see in one Mal is trying to jump rope and the other she's ready to kill the ball. They are working on a lot of conditioning so she might be alittle sore the next morning. Can't wait till they get outside and hit the dirt! They practice from 7-830ish on Tuesday's so by the time we get home, shower and get ready for bed it's at least 10, 1030. Makes for a long day but it's all worth it. Especially when you end it laying in bed watching "Grease" ;) Until tomorrow....

Day 4 Monday January 9, 2012

Today was a lazy, do nothing day for us. No practices or anything. We sat home in our sweats, ate and flipped back a forth between the OSU vs OU b-ball game and the LSU vs Alabama game. After the OSU game was over, Mal had to work on cleaning her room and putting her laundry up. I had to grab a pic cause it's usually like pulling teeth to get her to clean. At least it's done.....for another month ;) Until tomorrow....

I didn't get a pic of the day so I went with part of what I did today. Kinda going backwards, I ended the day reading my new fav book, The Hunger Games. I'm only on chapter 7 and I'm hooked. It's soo good. But before that, we went to Wynnewood today to eat and spend the day at Brandon's Granny and Grandad's. We had some good food and good quality time with the family. The only ones missing were Bev and Bryan. We also ended the evening ona good note.....The Denver Broncos pulled it off and won!! Until tomorrow...

Day 2 January 7, 2012

Back to basketball! Mallorie plays in a rec league outside of school ball which plays 2 games in Yukon every Saturday. We obviously LOVE sports! We won both games today. The first one was kinda a blowout, 48-16, but the second one was a really good close game, 22-18. All the girls worked and played very hard to win that one. After a long morning of b-ball and alil Wendy's for lunch we went home and I got to try a couple new recipes off of my new addiction..... Pinterest ;). I made Crispy Chedder Chicken and Oven Roasted Potatoes which were both to die for and the family loved. Great food to end a great day. Until tomorrow .

This is the awesome Christmas present from my wonderful in-laws. I decided that I wanted to put it to some good use besides being on pinterest and updating our phones. We lead a very busy life most of the year with our daughter(Mallorie, who is 12) playing basketball, softball, going to pitching lessons and our son(Ayden, who is 6) just starting to play baseball. Between all that, mine and my husbands(Brandon) full time jobs we are always going in every which direction. I think we have an awesome family all around I would like to start sharing our crazy daily lives with anyone and everyone. Thanks for reading.
