Day 114 Saturday April 28, 2012

Busy day of ball. Started early with the first game at 8am. Then we played at 11:30, 1:15 and 6:30. They won 3 out of 4 games today which is great. All the girls played great and Mal got the MVP award for the second game. Yay! We had a big break between the last two games so we went and ate and had alittle fun being goofy. When the day was done, we headed back to the hotel to watch the Thunder game and rest up for tomorrow. We had an awesome day!

Day 113 Friday April 27, 2012

Well a great day at work and now off to Missouri. It's just me and sis goin. Brandon has to stay and work and Ayden is stayin with grandpa to help him move trees and then ride the new Razor. Ready for a great weekend of ball! We made it to the hotel about 9:15. We ran into some storms around Olathe which slowed us down alittle. But we made it just in time for bed.

Day 112 Thursday April 26, 2012

No games for Ayden today, just practice for Mal. Once we got home I had to start packing for the weekend. We are leaving tomorrow afternoon for Missouri to play in a invitation only tournament. So excited! It's a round robin with 7 games, 7 innings each. They are gonna have to play their butts off! Can't wait! On the other hand, I had to share this pic of our cat, Mr. Kitty, and what Ayden has done to him. He has to put up with so much from those darn kids. But he loves them anyways.

Day 111 Wednesday April 25, 2012

Not a lot today, normal Wednesday. Only American idol in tv. Just tryin to relax since this is our only free day this week. While gettin ready for bed, Ayden had to put on these pj's that he refuses to give up. They're just alittle too small ;) Oh well, maybe one day.

Day 110 Tuesday April 24, 2012

Today Ayden has a t-ball game at 7:00 and Mal has practice at 6:00. Yay. Mal wanted to skip practice and go to the game but she has a big tournament comin up this weekend so it's not the day to skip. She was only mad at me a few minutes lol. Brandon said they won big and Ayden played great! Once we all got home And ready for bed, Ayden wanted to read me his book. He's so darn cute. Then it was off to bed. Until tomorrow......

Day 109 Monday April 23, 2012

Not bad for a Monday. Much better at work than Friday was. Ayden had practice tonight to get ready for his game tomorrow. They are so cute to watch lol. So glad our kids love sports!

Day 108 Sunday April 22, 2012

Another great day of softball. Back at the ballpark for a 10:10 game. The weather was great, until the wind eventually picked up. But at least it wasn't 105! They girls played great all weekend. They hit the ball well, made the plays and ended up winning the tournament. They played 9 games, scored 76 runs and only allowed 3 runs. Awesome! All in all it was a great weekend!

Day 107 Saturday April 21, 2012

We had a long day of softball. The girls played 4 games today, first at 8am, last at 8:10pm. Since it was so early and i found one close, i got myself a Starbucks coffee. Yum! We kinda had a big gap between the last two so we drove home to hang with the family. All of our family from McAlester and all over got together today for our monthly birthday dinner at the Amber community building. We were not suppose to be in a tourney this weekend but we were rained out last weekend so had to make up for it. So we got to hang out for a couple hours which was worth the drive. Then back to the city for our last game of the day. Great day of ball and family.

Day 106 Friday April 20, 2012

Crazy Friday at work! We were all so ready for this day to be over. No games or anything tonight so the kids were outside with the sidewalk chalk. Mal did good and Ayden's you couldn't really see. He wrote OSU and his whole name, plus his shadow is in the pic lol. It was a good evening, ready for games tomorrow.

I just have to say I'm glad we have such an awesome family! They always step in and help any time they can. We would be lost without everyone. Michael has been taking Mal to pitching every Thursday but today he even took her to practice after. He offered, I didn't ask lol. I met up with him and got Ayden and we went home a cooked dinner. It was kinda nice. Then the rain moved in. I love the rain and storms as long as there are no tornados. Very nice to sleep to. I tried to get a good pic but just got the lightning reflecting off the car. Oh well. I tried ;) Until tomorrow......

Pretty good day. Busy at work which made the day fly by. Mal went home with a friend after school today to practice for the talent show. Mal is singing and Carli is playin the piano. I can't wait to see them perform. They are such talented girls. Then, tonight is Idol night! We have to vote, vote, vote! Random, but I have to share this pic I took on the way to work. It's a old messed up door on the back of a truck but I think it looks like two people holding hands. How my mind wonders....

Well just Mals practice tonight. Ayden has no games or practice this week because of testing at school. So a good night at practice, dinner on the go and two goofy kids. They didn't wanna eat on the way home like they normally do, they wanted to wait to eat at the new table at home. Funny. Then they were acting like goobers. Gotta love em lol.

Day 102 Monday April 16, 2012

Monday, Monday. Not a bad day. No practices or anything today. So Ayden was helping grandpa and Michael in the garden. He looks like my little Tom Sawyer with his pants rolled up. Then when he got home he helped dad clean up after he edged the front yard. I'm glad he likes to help so much. While they we workin in the yard, me and Mal took Michael's truck and went and got our new table. I love it! I feel like I've been looking forever for one I liked. And all it took was a girl at work selling hers. Thanks Lucy!! Until tomorrow......

Day 101 Sunday April 15, 2012

Well the storms ended up coming out our way about 3:30am. They started really bad up north in Woodward at about 12:30am. I ended up staying up watching the weather just in case it was gonna get bad when it hit us. Thank God the storms kinda weakened by the time they got to us. I went to sleep around 4:00ish after they had almost passed. Man, gotta love spring! But once we got up, we found a friend on the porch. A box turtle. I guess it was tryin to stay safe too. Of course Ayden wanted to keep it but him and Brandon ended up letting it go that evening. What a day! Thoughts and prayers for everyone affected by the storms.

Day 100 Saturday April 14, 2012

Day 100! I'm proud of myself for makin it 100 days. I might get behind a few days but I always make up for it. Today I did nothing but sit and worry about the bad weather coming while Brandon watched baseball. I'm secretly terrified of tornados but would love to be in meteorology. Weird. But luckily it all stayed way north and west of us. So later on and no weather is close, my sister calls and says "hey, ya wanna go eat with me, mom and dad?" I said she was crazy but we ended up going with them anyway. I was just gonna sit at home and keep worrying anyways. So this was the kids goofing off at olive garden.

Day 99 Friday April 13, 2012

Oooooooo, Friday the 13th! Great day to watch scary movies! But nooo, we are too busy watching the weather. I kept my radar on my phone on all day. Starting today the risk of tornados is very high for the weekend. We ended up havin a couple storms come thru but they stayed pretty calm. Just wind and a little bit of hail. But Norman ended up gettin hit pretty good , so did Mustang. Too close for me. But we still have to keep an eye open for tomorrow.

Oh how our Thursday has gotten busier. Today Ayden has a reading award event at 4:30 then a game at 6:30 in Verden. Mal has pitching at 4:15 and practice at 5:30. Wow! I'm so glad we have people to help us out.

Day 97 Wednesday April 11, 2012

Busy , busy day at work. I am tired! Plus I had to go to Walmart when I got off, blah. So by the time I got home and put everything up it was after 7. So then it was laundry and cleaning up the kitchen and a little watchin tv. When the kids got home from church they had to let the cute lil hamsters out to run. I just love them. They are so funny to watch!

Today me and Brandon have been married for 13 years. It's crazy how the years have flown by. Time does fly when your havin fun lol. But, the norm does not stop. Mal had practice and Ayden had a game. Busy, busy! We love what we, and our kids do on a daily basis. We just need a body double sometimes lol ;) Until tomorrow......

Day 95 Monday April 9, 2012

Today not bad for a Monday. Ayden ended up having practice but Brandon was home in time to take him. So I stayed home and cooked dinner. We bought some breaded cod from the Schwans man that I was dying to try. I forgot we didn't have any tarter sauce so I call my mother-in-law to see if she had any but she didn't. She told me how to make my own, so I did. It turned out great! I'm gonna make my own from now on! I feel like I learn something new everyday ;)

Day 94 Sunday April 8, 2012

Easter Sunday!! We had a great day. The kids got their baskets from the Easter bunny first thing this morning. Then I made my newest Pinterest idea, colored deviled eggs. They turned out so yummy and so cute! We went to Wynnewood to Granny's to eat and visit with family. Brandon and Ayden was gonna go fishing but it was raining down there. Other than that we had a good time and lots of good food. Until tomorrow......

Day 93 Saturday April 7, 2012

Today was a great day! We drove down to McAlester to celebrate Aunt Granny Sharon's 60th birthday at Pete's! It was a surprise party which made it even better. And boy was she surprised! She cried when she seen all of us there! We love seeing all of our family down there but don't get to often enough. We always have such a blast and are never ready to leave. Day 92 Friday April 6, 2012

So the kids were out of school today and Roger was off work do the kids went with him to Wynnewood to work. He was goin down to Grannys to cut down some tree branches. I know Ayden helped but I'm pretty sure Mal caught up on her book ;) After the hard work, Michael took Ayden fishing and boy did he do good. He caught a pretty good sized bass but didn't wanna touch it. He was so excited! I think they had a good day.

Busy practice day. It was inside today cause it was still too wet outside. But after, the girls were havin fun goofing off. They always have fun together. Crazy girls! Once we got home it was time to crawl in my bed and catch up on American Idol. Yay!! Just another great day. Until tomorrow......

Day 90 Wednesday April 4, 2012

I may have already bragged about this but I will again. This is the most amazing stuff and it only costs $1 at the Dollar Tree. Its called totally awesome. Some moms on the softball team told me about it so I had to try it. It's a cleaner to use on Mal's white uniform and it works wonders. It's crazy how clean her pants were! I'm sold!

Day 89 Tuesday April 3, 2012

Rainy day. I love the rain. I could have slept all day. But Ayden was a little upset cause his t-ball game was cancelled. Mallorie's practice was also cancelled cause of the rain plus someone is using their indoor right now. So I did some laundry, cleaned the kitchen and paid some bills. Not quite as lazy as I wanted to be lol. So nothin really to share but our two wonderful kids.

Day 88 Monday April 2, 2012

So I finally opened Mallorie a savings account today. We have talked about doing that for a long time to help with softball expenses but I just haven't done it. There are new things she needs all the time, not to mention the traveling. This will help pay for gas and hotel when we play out of town and just anything else she might need. Plus, grandma said she would make deposits here and there too ;) Gotta love our awesome family! Until tomorrow......

Day 87 Sunday April 1, 2012

More softball today, early. First game at 9am. And it is soo windy. We were so covered by dirt at the end of the day we looked a shade darker. The girls played good overall. Again we played up in 14u so we were very happy with how hard the girls played. We had a little drama with one of the teams Saturday night and Sunday afternoon but what can ya do except be the bigger team. Some people are just raised wrong. Yet another reason im glad we have such a great group of parents and family. We had a great weekend with everyone. Until tomorrow......

Day 86 Saturday March 31, 2012

Softball and Baseball today. Ayden is in a tournament in Pocasset and Mallorie is in a tournament at The Plex, north OKC. I stayed with Ayden and Brandon and Roger took Mal. It was a pretty good day for both of them. Ayden's not use to the long day of ball so his little team was so tired by the end. But they ended up winning 3rd place and they were so happy with that! Mal's team won 2 games and lost 2 games. They are playing up in the 14u bracket so we are proud of how good they are doin. It was a long but good day for everyone.

Day 85 Friday March 30, 2012

Well we didn't have much planned tonight. Mal's softball tourn don't start till tomorrow and Ayden didn't play tonight either. So Mal went up to the high school baseball game with Michael and Aubrey and Ayden stayed with Grandpa and helped him plant garden. And what did me and Brandon do.......nothing. It was nice ;) So my pic for today is how proud of myself I am. I have never been able to French braid and now that Mallorie is 12 and don't like the cutesy pony tails anymore, I'm trying. And I have to say I'm doing pretty good. It's a start at least lol.
