Day 146 Wednesday May 30, 2012

Pretty busy day at work which made the day go by fast. But I'm still so tired from being up half the night with the storms and the power being off. So I went home, ate dinner and was super lazy waitin on the next round of storms to roll in. Which they never did. Although i did stay up late cause the one from the north was suppose to hit us sometime after midnight. We were pretty much smack dab in the middle with nothin to worry about. Thank god cause I prayed really hard that we wouldnt get anything bad. That's the only reason I'm ready for it to be full blown summer is there is a slimmer chance of tornados.

Day 145 Tuesday May 29, 2012

Today Ayden had a ball game at home. The kids played good as usual but we had to end in a tie when the ump called the game. The storms were rollin in fast and the clouds were ugly. Before we knew it the clouds were swirling over our head. We all hurried out of there but before we could get home the hail started coming down. Started small with some golf ball size. It was crazy and very loud. So of course, I stay up watching the weather as it builds around us. We did get very high winds and some rain later after the hail but nothin more than that, thank god! But I did stay up until it was clear for us. Gotta love the crazy Oklahoma weather!

Day 144 Monday May 28, 2012

It's Memorial Day and the last day of the tournament. We were really hoping to be here all day but it didn't work out that way. We won the first game 10-0 but ended up losing the next game 0-1. They played very hard and fought to win but fell short. It was a battle for 1 1/2 hr between two great teams! But they can not hang their heads. We played up in the 14u and pretty much dominated all the other games. So proud of all of them! On the other hand, I did have to share this pic of Ayden and his penguin ice cream. He's such a goober!

Day 143 Sunday May 27, 2012

Day two! The girls played 3 games today also. There was a big gap between the first and second games so we went and ate and relaxed in the cool air. We won today's games 1-0, 5-1 & 7-0. Force 99 had another great day! We were done alittle earlier tonight so the kids finally got to swim. They had a great time! The girls were trying to flip their hair to look like George Washington. Crazy girls!

Day 142 Saturday May 26, 2012

First day of the tournament and we don't play till 4pm. Kinda glad cause we got to sleep in then run around alittle bit. The girls played 3 games today and they played great! We won 20-0, 10-0 & 9-0. Bring on tomorrow!

Day 141 Friday May 25, 2012

Both me and Brandon had a full day of work and then load up and off to Kansas City. We ended up gettin to our hotel about 12:30. I'm just glad we don't have an early game Saturday morning.

Tonight Mal has practice and Ayden has a game. That's the story of our life lol. Everything on the same nights. But we always seem to work it out. We are lucky enough to have plenty of people to help us out. Ayden played and hit the ball good. I tried to get an action shot.

Nothin goin on today. Cleaned alil house, made some dinner and ready to turn in early. Not feelin to swift this evening. I think I've pushed myself alittle too much since my surgery. Brandon and everyone keeps tellin me to chill out and relax but I just can't . I'll be fine. I just wanted to share my next project until we start on Mals room. I'm gonna redo our kitchen cabinets. And I found it on pinterest. Yay! We'll see how it turns out. I'll defiantly post pics.

So we got rained out today. They played all their pool play games yesterday and was ready to start bracket today. Oh well, there's always next weekend lol. It was a rainy day so we stayed in and I got some laundry done. Tried to clean alil house but couldn't get motivated. Another day. I think I've shared this before but I love it so I'm sharing again.

Day 135 Saturday May 19, 2012

We have a very busy day today. Ball games at 9:00 and 10:10, Mal's 6th grade class party in Del City from 11-1, back for another game at 2:20, then dinner with all our family from McAlester at Cattlemans at 4:30 then back for the last game at 7:20. Man I'm glad it all worked out perfect time wise, but wow it was a long day.

We have game one of the tournament tonight at 7:40. We are playin up in 14u so the girls will have to play hard. We had to play prob the best team in this group and lost 10-3. But it also didn't help that our team didn't quite have it together tonight. Oh, well. One down, several more to go.

Not a lot today, just usual practice. Gettin ready for a tournament in Moore this weekend. I wanted to share a quote that Mal and the girls try to go by. It's posted at her pitching/hitting coach's facility I know for sure.

I feel much better today than I did yesterday! I should have just listened to everyone and stayed home Monday. Oh well, I learned my lesson. Nothin today but Idol. It's almost over! Down to the final 3! And the only one I like is Phillip Phillips!!! We had to vote, vote, vote tonight!!

Day 131 Tuesday May 15, 2012

I woke up this morning with the intention of going to work after Mal's talent show at 9. But I had such a rough night I still felt horrible this morning. I didn't even know if I could make it to that but I did. Then I decided it was back home and to bed for me. I needed to let myself rest. So I did, and it helped. Today was a big day anyways. Mal was singing in the talent show, it's the last day of school and Mal graduated the 6th grade tonight. Wow. I can't believe our baby girl will be in the 7th grade at the high school next year. These kids grow up way too fast. They have a really great class and a big group of them that's really close. It was a great graduation with some laughs and some tears. And Mal got the American Legion Award which we didn't know about. Even though it started off really rough, it turned out to be a great day.

Well I was stupid today and tried to be superwoman and went to work this morning. Of course it was steady so I was constantly movin. About 2ish I finally decided I needed to go home. I went home, changed clothes, took a pain pill and climbed in bed. And that's where I stayed. But to brighten my day, I wore the new necklace my sister got me for Mothers day. It says Love, Laugh, Sister. She's the greatest! I love it!!

Happy Mothers Day!! Today we went down to Granny's for lunch then came back and had dinner with my mom and family. Rog took the Razor and 4 wheeler down there also so everyone got to take a ride. Mallorie is so happy she is finally old enough to drive these things. They had a great time. I was alittle sore once we got home just from sittin in the car for a long drive there and back but that's it. It was a great day!

Day 128 Saturday May 12, 2012

Today Brandon and Roger took Mal to her tournament in Dewey and me and Ayden stayed home and relaxed. I hated not being there but she just wants me to get better. Ayden did t quite relax either. Thanks to the neighbors being home he got to play outside most of the day which was great for me. Later my mom and dad was in the city so they brought me and Ayden some dinner from KFC. Yummy! Thanks M & D! Mal and them won the tourney which is awesome and I had a relaxing day.

Well today is the day......My gallbladder is comin out. I hope to feel so much better once I heal. Everything went great! Of course Missie had to snap a pic once I came out of recovery so I had to share it. Thanks for all the prayers!!

Today Michael was nice enough to take Mal to pitching and to practice so that I could go to Ayden's game. He's so awesome! Before the game, I was sittin watching tv and had my glass of tea. Mr. Kitty just thought he needed to stretch out and try to touch my glass. Right before I snapped the pic he pulled his paw back. He cracks me up! Well tonight after midnight, I can not have anything to eat or drink. I'm having surgery tomorrow to remove my gallbladder. Yay! Not really, but hopefully it will make me feel better.. So tonight I have to use this wonderful antibacterial body wash instead of my smelly good stuff. Wish me luck ;)

Mallorie got to go on the AR field trip to the Redhawks game today. She was pretty pumped. This is a photo I snagged off one of the girls FB. The girls and their redhawks hats. And today was Ayden's Nursery Rhyme program and awards assembly. He was really gettin down dancing. They are too cute.

We just have Mal's practice tonight. And we found out that we do have to go to Dewey this weekend. There has only been two teams in it for the longest time until the cutoff day. Then one more decides to join. So now this will be a one day, three team tournament. Crazy. Oh well, it's still fun.

Pretty good Monday. Good day at work then t-ball tonight. We had a game rained out so they made it up tonight. We are so proud of Ayden and how well he's doing. They did a great job and won the game! Plus I ran into my bestie, Kerri, at the game cause her nephew was playing after us. We stayed and visited for most of their game which was great!!

So we were alil lazy this morning since we're not use to stayin up so late anymore lol. Once we were up and around, I made alil lunch and then cleaned some house. Brandon went to do some yard work for a friend which took alittle bit. Ayden tried to help me clean but ya know how that goes. He ended up tryin to suck up his shoe. Then later the kids wanted to play in the water so they did for a bit. It's funny watching them ;) Another great day!

Well we had out garage sale today. We did ok but did get rid of a lot of stuff. Everything else went to goodwill. All that out of the way for another year! Once we packed up it was time to head to town a d get my haircut, finally. I love going to McAlester to our cousin Michelle but we stay so busy it's hard to get down there. I'm just glad Jessica does a great job also :) To end the day, we went to our friends to celebrate their new house and watch the Thunder game. We had a blast! It's nice to kick back and relax ever so often when it seems like we're always goin. It was a great day! Oh yeah, everyone was talkin about the "super moon" so I had to take a pic. But it just looked normal to me lol.

Not a lot goin on today. Just gettin ready for the Amber town wide garage sale tomorrow. Yay! I finally get to clean our garage out! Other than gathering things up, pricing things and settin it all up, its a regular fabulous Friday. No pic today, just alil something I found about myself lol.

We just had Mal's practice tonight. Ayden's game was cancelled because our high school baseball boys were playin in the state tournament tonight. Michael had takin Mal to pitching but I had to meet up with him when I got off to get Ayden so he could go ump in chickasha. Before we even got half way to Amber, he was zonked out. He slept all the way to pick Mal up and get her to practice. He was full of energy by the time we got home. Cause then he grabbed the sack I had and decided to wear it. He poked holes thru the bottom with his feet and pulled the handles over his shoulders. Goober! Plus his sweatband makes him look alil more goofy lol.

Busy day of work so my dogs are barkin and I wanna be lazy. So I made an easy dinner and caught up in some shows. I did throw in a couple loads of laundry. While the cute lil hamsters were running around the kept hangin around Mr. Kitty. He could really care less. He just looks at them like their crazy.

I can't believe it's already May! This year is just flying by so fast. Well I get to catch up alil tonight. To wet for practice and Ayden played last night. I have plenty to do since we were gone all weekend. We had ranch style beans and cornbread for dinner, thanks to Bev, so I had to make some chocolate pudding. We always ate this growing up.....well, Missie didn't lol. Hot chocolate pudding poured over crumbled up cornbread. Yummy!!! This picture doesn't do it any justice but I love it!

Today me and Mal finally get to watch one of Ayden's games. All of his games have been on Tuesday and Thursday nights, which are the same nights Mal has practice. It's so fun to watch them play. They are so little and they are learning so much!

We are alil bummed. Storms came thru last night and was still raining this morning. Soooo tourney is rained out. Kinda stinks to drive all that way but we did play 4 out of 7 games. It was nice because I have family that lives in the same town so we got to visit with them. Plus my mom and aunt came also to watch Mal and see family. After they called to tourney off, the girls decided they were gonna swim before we all left. Crazy girls! It was still in the 50's! They spent most of the time in the hot tub lol. It was a good weekend overall.
