Day 84 Thursday March 29, 2012

Busy day! First off, Mallorie got her braces on today. Just the top today, plus she goes back Monday to get another piece put in. She did pretty good today. She said just a little sore but really annoying. The pic in the car was right after and the other is at the end of the day, still smiling. She has been going to the orthodontist for two years waiting to loose enough teeth to get braces. Finally! Then on with our normal Thursday. Mal had pitching and then practice. Plus Ayden had his first t-ball game tonight. Nows the time of year we have to start taking turns on who takes which kid lol. I didn't get to see it but he already hit his first home run of the season. He was so excited! And that's part of why we love our crazy busy life ;) Until tomorrow......

I love Wednesday's. It's usually our one free day. But today the kids had to stay after school for Ayden's practice. They are gettin ready for their first game tomorrow in the preseason tournament. He is so excited! Even after they got home he wanted to keep practicing outside. So they did ;)

Good day. Straight from work to Mal's practice. I always have a good time myself sittin and chatting with the parents. I'm glad we have such a great group. To make the day better, Ayden is going to receive an award from the Grady County Reading Council for being one of the top readers in Grady County. Yay him! We have an event to go to in a couple of weeks for him to receive his award and a prize. Plus he gets his picture in the paper! We are so excited and proud. I'm glad our kids got their smarts from their dad lol.Until tomorrow......

Day 81 Monday March 26, 2012

Long Monday.....the first day back to school after spring break is always alittle rough. We were all tired and movin slow. But not a bad day overall. No practices tonight so Brandon mowed and we cleaned up the backyard and made plans to make it beautiful. And dinner was easy. I made another pinterest recipe, Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings, so it had been cookin all day. It was sooo yummy! I love trying new recipes when they turn out good. Until tomorrow......

Day 80 Sunday March 25, 2012

Lazy Sunday morning. We needed to do a few things around the yard but just couldn't get motivated. Ayden had t-ball practice at 2 so Brandon took him to that while me and Mal went to see the Hunger Games. It was a great movie! We both loved it! We can't wait for the next one. But after practice, Brandon headed to the city to meet Bryan to go to the Thunder game. He couldn't have got the chance to go to a better game! They had a blast! He sent me a pic from their seats. Mal was just alittle jealous ;) I'm glad he got to go. Until tomorrow......

Day 79 Saturday March 24, 2012

Well we finally have Internet! After 2 1/2 months of waiting! If you remember, we got a laptop for Christmas and we have been waiting on the Internet company ever since. Oh well, it's done now. I did a little cleaning around the house and then around 5 we met up with the family to eat for Bryan's birthday. We ate at The Shack for the first time and it was great! We love seafood! After that Mal had a dodgeball birthday party to go to at 7. It was so much fun to watch them and the parents even joined in for a few games. Great idea for kids, and adults ;) It was kinda a long day but it was all worth it. Great Saturday. Until tomorrow......

TGIF!! It's been a long week. Well my intentions were to go home and deep clean my house. But that didn't quite happen. I had to run to Wal-Mart for a few things and ya know how that goes. So by the time I got home with groceries and put them up, I didn't have much left. I did alittle laundry and that was about it. Oh well, a messy house is a well lived in house ;) Until tomorrow......

Busy day at work......my dogs were barkin! Then straight from there to Mal's pitching. We were lucky we could move her lessons back cause we didn't have anyone to take her today. It worked out ok cause she didn't have regular practice cause it is spring break. Once we got home I started dinner and Ayden came running inside tellin me to come look, look, look. It was not one but two beautiful rainbows. One was faint but the other was the brightest one I have ever seen. I tried but I couldn't get the whole thing in one pic. Not a bad day. Good day at work with good grub and nothin but idol on tv tonight. And Mal went to the orthodontist today and after 2 yrs or so of waiting, she finally gets her braces on next Thursday. She's ready but not ready. But back to idol :) This is what me and Mal do every Wednesday..... Vote, vote, vote. We vote a lot of times for our absolute favorites and then a few times for everyone else except the ones we don't like. We love it. It's fun to watch together. We're just alittle obsessed lol. Today was a very sleepy day. Rain, rain, rain. I could have slept all day. But today I finally got to get together with my family for my birthday dinner. We all have been so busy. We always have fun when we get together. Sometimes alittle too much fun ;) Ayden was playing with the little plastic toy containers and I was seeing eyes in the sausage lol. Lots of laughs!! Championship Sunday!!! We had one more game to win at 9:25 this morning to get to the finals. And we did! Our team, Force 99, played our first year 12u sister team, Force 2000 for the championship. The girls played great, hit the ball and scored runs, made all the right plays and we came out on top! Great job ladies! FORCE, You Know!!!!!

Day 72 Saturday March 17, 2012

Happy St. Patricks Day!! A great one spent at the ballpark! The girls had green paint in their hair after the first game so they wouldn't get pinched, since our colors are blue. Very smart. The first game was at 12:15, second at 3:05 and third was at 7:20. They won them all!! The first two we won pretty easy but the third game was a tough one. A good close game, but we won. We had a pretty good gap after the second game so we went and ate as a team at Earl's. It was really good! Great day!! Until tomorrow......

A good Friday overall. Good day at work, got a few things done, then home to get ready for softball. The first game was at 8:30. The team always starts the game with a group prayer and then a cheer. We have a great bunch of girls. The games were behind so we started late which made it a late night. Home around 11:30. But they played really well tonight and won the game. Until tomorrow......

Busy, busy day as Thursday's usually are but now we have to add Ayden's t-ball into the mix. So Mal pitching at 4:15, Mal practice at 6:00 and Ayden's practice at 6:00. I'm soo glad we have people to help us out! But to top off our busy day.........searching for things listed in Ayden's I spy book. Oh what fun ;) Until tomorrow......

I have already rolled over to 15,000 miles on my car! Crazy! That's how much we drive between Mal and Ayden's sports....well mostly Mal so far. That's why I'm glad we have a good dependable car that gets great gas mileage. Thank gosh! We could defiantly never lease a car lol. Until tomorrow......

Today is my Birthday!!! Happy Birthday to me!! It was a pretty good day. Nice day at work and then Mal had practice. It might be my birthday but life goes on lol. But I also share this day with someone else. A few years ago we lost a very special man on this day. My uncle Leon. He was a truck driver and he love what he did, and he died doing what he loved. He was loved by everyone, especially all of us children. He always had a smile on his face and he didn't have a mean bone in his body. This pic is of Leon and Mal hunting Easter eggs. He was the greatest to all of the kids. He will always be loved and missed.

Day 67 Monday March 12, 2012

It was Monday. Mal woke up not feeling very good. She's had a cough for a couple days and this morning her throat hurt pretty bad. Got her in to the doc, did a strep test but I came back negative. Which it usually does on me and both the kids but lab work always comes out positive. So we decided to treat it as such. And we also decided that Mal just needs to hurry and get her tonsils out. Yay. But now we have to find a break in softball and a time she won't miss very much school. We'll see. Ayden had t-ball practice at Pocasset but Brandon was home in time to take him so I stayed home and made dinner. Later in the evening, Michael called and said that grandpa was building a fire so we went and sat around it for a little bit. Great way to end the night. Until tomorrow......

Day 66 Sunday March 11, 2012

So it rained all night and the games were called off today. Poo.... But we had kind of a lazy morning which was nice. Then we decided to take a trip to Wynnewood to see Granny. We had a nice visit. When we got home I decided to clean out the top of our closet. I come across a bunch of old pictures when Mal was little. Man she was so cute! My baby girl is growin up so fast. She had the cutest scrunchy face smile. Man how time flys......

Day 65 Saturday March 10, 2012

Well first game today at 3:15. The rain held off till the very end plus it was soooo cold. Next game wasn't till 5:50 but that team forfeited. So now to wait, in the rain, until 8:30 for the next game. Me and Ayden sat in the car and watched Rio so we could keep warm and dry. It wasn't raining hard enough to call the games but just enough to be annoying. But about 730 it came a downpour and they decided to call them. Thank gosh! Now to wait and see how much it rains tonight. Until tomorrow......

Softball time!! First game at 7:20 then 8:25. Nice and cold. And of course the ballpark runs out of hot chocolate. Oh well, plenty of layers and blankets to keep me warm.

Today Ayden was suppose to go the dentist after school. Well, we made it there but got nothing done. Today was a rough afternoon, very tired and cranky. I pretty much drug him in there and put him in the chair only to turn around a leave. He normally does great at the dentist but not today. I was ready to pull my hair out. His cranky day made me cranky too. So I found this pic that takes me to a happy place. Colorado. I love the snow, the cold, the winter. It's beautiful!! I could live there! Well today is Ayden's first t-ball practice. He's alittle excited. He had to wear his black practice pants and his uniform top from last year with his black socks and cleats. He's ready to play! It wouldn't have been so bad if we didn't have that stupid wind! It was ridiculous! But they all survived and didn't get blown away. After that Mal had practice at the facility which was better than outside. Long day. It was 9:30ish by the time we got home. Oh well, just another day ;) Untill tomorrow......

Today we have nothing. But I just wanted to share our calendar with you. There are not many days of nothing plus not all of Ayden's t-ball stuff is on there yet. We live a crazy busy life but we love it. We wouldn't have it any other way ;) Until tomorrow......

Day 59 Sunday March 4, 2012

Up and at it early. Mal's team played at 11:30 today. It was a pretty bad morning. The girls just couldn't get it together. They had error after error and that was the only way the other team scored. But thats all it took cause we couldn't get our bats goin either. It just wasn't meant to be today. But we can't win them all. They just have to keep their heads up and get ready for next weekend. We have an awesome group of girls, on and off the field, and we couldn't ask for anymore. Great job Force 99!! After the game we went and had a great lunch with my mom and dad. Way overdue ;) Then it was a trip to Academy to get a net for Ayden and Mal to hit into. Then home to practice. Both kids wanted to get outside and hit away and they did. We gotta love their enthusiasm! Great times with the family ;) Until tomorrow......

Day 58 Saturday March 3, 2012

Awesome Saturday at the ball field. We started off with Mal playin at 12:00. The girls played good and we won that game. After their game we stayed and watched OSU play Iowa. Mal thought it was so cool to watch those college girls play. It was a good game too but OSU lost. Then OU played LSU so we stayed and watched alittle bit of that game also but we didn't stay too long. It was so cold and windy and once the sun started getting lower it got colder. We had enough of outside and was ready to go home. We had a long fun filled day of softball and we loved it! It's our life ;) Until tomorrow......

Great Friday overall! Pretty good day at work and the first day of softball. The first tournament is at the ASA Hall of Fame Stadium. The first game was tonight and it was awesome! They got to play on the big field, the stadium, and their names were in lights on the big scoreboard. Amazing! Plus they pulled it off with a 10-1 victory. Can't wait till game 2! I can't believe it's March already. How time flys. It's our normal busy Thursday. Basketball is over for the season so it's all softball now. So now on Thursday's we have to hurry home to watch American Idol. We do DVR it but me and Mal have to watch it the same night. So tonight while watching idol ayden picked out a new app, The Lorax. Sooo cute! So we played with it alittle bit ;) You get to see these but not the ones of me and Brandon. Until tomorrow......
