Day 176 Friday June 29, 2012

Well the kids are off to the lake in the morning with meme and papa. I took them and dropped them off and they were all over the boat ready to go. They have been hollering about goin to the lake for awhile now but just haven't had the time. I'm glad they get to finally go. They will be gone till Tuesday so it's just me and dad with a free weekend. What shall we do?!?!

Day 175 Thursday June 28, 2012

Me and Ayden are both sick, sick, sick. I started feeling bad yesterday afternoon and got worse from there. Ayden has been on and off all week but is now throwing up. Fevers, body aches, headache, no bueno. I stayed home from work which means I feel really bad, and slept most of the day. I stayed in my room, tried to keep Ayden in his room and Mal trying to avoid both of us. But we went to the doc, both got meds so now time to start feeling better.

Day 174 Wednesday June 27, 2012

Today Mal finally got her bottom braces on. She had to reschedule her last appointment because of a tournament so it was put off a few weeks. She was excited cause she also got to change colors on the top. Now she is fully metal mouth lol but she is sooo pretty!

A day full of work and practice as usual. Good day though. I just wanna share how I love, love, love nutella but these little snack packs are tricky. It has little bread sticks in one side and nutella on the other. But..the nutella is only half the depth of the container. See, sneaky! I ran out of nutella before sticks. Ok, I'm over it ;)

I finally got it! I'm starting to read the book all the ladies I know are reading. A book that will make you blush, Fifty Shades of Grey. I have to read it so I can talk about it and be able to watch the movie when they finally make it lol. Stay tuned.....

Day 171 Sunday June 24, 2012

Back for more ball! We call this championship Sunday cause that's where we always wanna make it. And today we did! We played at 9, 12 and championship at 3. It was so hot and the girls were wearin down but they powered thru! So proud of all the girls for leavin it all on the field and bringing home a trophy. Great job Force 99!! And I also have to share my new favorite ball park snack besides Bigs seeds, sea salt and black pepper pistachios. Yum!

Day 170 Saturday June 23, 2012

Today was a great day! A day full of softball! They played three games today, 12, 1:30 & 6:30 and won them all. With our big gap we went and ate at McAlisters then headed to target. I love that place! We did alil shopping then the kids decided to take alil rest in the floor. Ayden tried to move before I could snap a pic. They are too funny!

All this week Mal has been at Falls Creek and is suppose to come home tomorrow but she also has a tournament this weekend. So we get to drive down there and get her this evening. We were gonna try to get her yesterday so she could make it to practice last night but we had nobody to go. Oh well, she was excited to get one more day. Glad she's home! I kinda missed her ;) On the other hand, it is driving Brandon crazy that Ayden keeps wearing socks with his sandles so I had to get a pic of him. Goober!

Rainy day. It rained until about 1:45 in Chickasha but Amber didn't get much at all. Then the sun came out and it was hot and humid. Humidity doesn't do good things to my hair lol!

It's the time of year to start poppin fireworks. Ayden and Brandon love this time of year, me and Mal could care less. We told him he could pop them but he had to pick up all his trash. So far so good.

Nothin today. Mal is gone so no practice and Ayden is done with games. So here is a pic of my outdoor project. I plan on building this in the backyard. I hope it turns out just as great!

Day 165 Monday June 18, 2012

Well Mallorie left for Falls Creek this morning. She has always gone to children's camp but this is her first year of big Falls Creek. It's sad for a momma, it means she's growing up. But I'll survive. On the other hand, Ayden had his last t-ball game tonight. I'm kinda sad it's over but we still have Mal to keep us busy lol. He hit a home run tonight and he was so excited. Plus they won the game! Glad we could end the season on a good note!

Happy Fathers Day! Great day! We got up and went to church with my parents then time for lunch. We had a great lunch and shared our cards, gifts and laughs. Then home to be lazy. We got a fire pit for Brandon, kinda for all of us hehe, that I'm sure we'll use a lot. I forgot to take a pic of it when we put it together so I took one off the website lol. We all love it!

Well for once in five weeks we have no tournaments. And what are we doin? Slaving away in the bathroom lol. But it was all worth it cause it looks great! We have a couple little places left but that's it. I feel accomplished that we can do handy work ourselves. I'll have finished, finished pics when it's complete with new wall hangings and everything.

Good Friday! It's that time of year that we are outside a lot. The kids play and pop fireworks and we try to keep the yard lookin good and alive. I'm gonna have to thin my big flower bed out after this year. They multiply every year! But it looks pretty good.

Today Ayden had the 3rd t-ball game of the week. That's a lot for those little kids. Luckily Mals team took off this week so it was just his games, except today which Mal still had pitching/hitting practice. I probably say it a lot but I'm so lucky to have the family that we do that is always willing to help us out with getting the kids places. Don't know what we would do without them! I forgot to mention we were up till midnight doing the floor so I'm one tired lady tonight. Watching the Thunder game until I fall asleep.

So today was a pretty busy day as usual but I am ready to get my bathroom done. By the time we were finished with dinner, which Beverly made and was soo yummy, it was 7:30 before I started on the floor. But, I got it done and it looks great! I'm so excited! Can't wait till its finished!

Today is my hubby's birthday. Happy Birthday Brandon! They also added a makeup game in Newcastle tonight that was rained out last week. So I threw a pork roast in the crock pot, bought some shiner bock at lunch and made Carmel brownies for dessert. So by the time we got home from the game the food was ready and beer was cold and it was time to watch the Thunder game. And my goober self didn't take any pics at the game tonight do here is another from last night ;)

Ayden had a ball game tonight at home. Then when that one was over the coach says oh yeah, we are gonna finish the tied game from the week before. Nice notice lol.

Today we finally took the toilet out of the bathroom we are remodeling. It's hard to find the time to do it all at once. But once we got goin and I got the floor primered, it was time to go get Mal. She spent the night with two of the girls on the team. That takes a couple of hours to go, get her and get back so theres the day. I will eventually get my bathroom done lol

We had softball all day today. We lost a couple of games so we had to work our way up the losers bracket. Not the way we like to do things, but it happens.

Yet again Mal has games during the week. First game 9am this morning. This tournament is the best of the best. There are two teams from Oklahoma, a few from Texas, more from California, Washington, Georgia, Alabama, Kansas and maybe others. I wasn't there but it was a long day for Mal, Bev, Ayden and Michael. Play again tomorrow.

Normal Thursday, practice, practice. We stopped by grandmas on the way home to get her stuff and get alittle entertainment in the process. There is a bunny that lives back behind their house by the building and Mal likes to chase it. She thinks one day she will catch it. Crazy girl!

Rain came thru again today so Ayden's game got rained out. I was bummed cause I was gonna go to this one. They canceled Mal's practice tonight cause they played Monday so we had a free night. Needless to say I didn't have a pic for today so I'll share one from Friday night of our two beautiful kids.

Today Mal and them finished their tournament. They won all three games which means they are the champions!! So proud of all these girls, they played so hard.

Well it rained again early this morning so our games were pushed back even further. We played our first game at 6:00pm and last at 10:30 pm. Needless to say it was a very late night. The girls played great and won all 3 games. Tomorrow they have to work hard towards the championship.

Rain, rain go away..... We wanna play softball! Games got rained out today. So we went to lowes to get some flowers for the flower beds finally. Plus we are finally gonna start workin on the main bathroom. This is a glimpse of how it looks now. Ugly floor! I will have follow up pics to keep track.

Day 148 Friday June 1, 2012

Tonight we went to the yearly Relay For Life in Chickasha. It's such a great event to honor the ones who have passed and the ones still living with cancer. Mallorie got to hang out with her friend that was there and Ayden had a good time playin the kids games and eatin good food. We get alittle exercise plus have a good time. The only thing missing was Missie, she had had to work.

Today I finally got my sign for my yard to show my support! My support goes to someone who deserves to run Grady County, Jim Weir. It's time for a change! Remember to vote June 26th!!
