Well it's the last day of February, the extra day we get this year. It was a busy one at work so I really wanted to lounge around tonight. So I did ;) We laughed so hard at this pic of me and Mal. We were just hangin out in my bed watching American Idol. Good times! It's all ok cause we have a very busy rest of the week and weekend ahead of us. So, Until tomorrow......

This week Mal started back to having practice on Tuesday nights also. Last two practices until the first tournament! Yay!! The parents are just as excited as the girls are! This is how they like to act at practice. Alittle fun along with all the hard work. They deserve it. Anyways.....can't wait till Friday night for their first game. Until tomorrow......

Day 53 Monday February 27, 2012

Well today I had to finish cleaning up the rest of the house. Our bedroom is almost spotless but a tornado hit everything else ;) We still had a dresser and tv sitting in our living room, laundry to do, kitchen to clean and hamster cages to clean out. Woo....tired just thinkin about it. But I got all of it done except alil laundry. The kids actually helped with the hamster cages. I'm shocked, but proud. At least it's all done and this long day is over. Until tomorrow......

Day 52 Sunday February 26, 2012

Good Sunday! Mal had softball practice outside today at 2. They practiced for 2 1/2 hours, glad it was pretty nice outside. Once we finally got home I had a lot to do. I had to clean all of our stuff out of the old entertainment center and dresser in our bedroom. It was time to move in the new stuff Roger built for us! And I got to finally move back in the glider rocker that Granny & Grandad got us when Mal was born. It took us awhile but it was well worth it! It looks great! Thanks Rog!!! Until tomorrow......

Day 51 Saturday February 25, 2012

Busy, busy day! Got my oil changed, Mal had 2 b-ball games, had an early dinner with a bunch of family and went to an OSU womens b-ball game. Mal's games were pretty good. They lost the first one and won the second one. After that we had to run and get Ayden a new bike. It was a must in his eyes ;) Then we had our monthly birthday dinner with our family from all over. Always a good time! Then me, Mal, Bryan, Michael & Aubrey headed to Stillwater for the Cowgirls b-ball game and Brandon and Ayden headed to Monster Jam! We all had a blast! It was a long day but overall worth it! Until tomorrow......

TGIF!! Pretty good day. I feel a lot better today. Not great, but better. The directv guy is comin to the house today. Yay! He is upgrading the receiver in our bedroom to a HD/DVR receiver and putting our old one in Ayden's room. He is really excited to have cartoons in his room! So what did we have to do next......Go buy a new HD tv to go with our new receiver! It's a late valentines present for me, I mean me and Brandon ;) But we don't have time to hook it all up until Sunday. We love our busy, busy life. Until tomorrow......

Sick, sick, sick today. Blaahhh...... Went to the doc and he said I have strep. Yuck! I too my medicine as soon as I got it and went home and rested all day. But it was short lived when I had to get the kids and take Mal to pitching. Oh well, gotta power thru ;) We got home grabbed a snack and then took her to b-ball practice and dropped her off. By the time it was over Brandon was home so he went and picked her up. Whew! What a day. This is the contraption I needed all day ;) Gross, but funny! Until tomorrow......

Not a whole lot today. I haven't felt very good so it was a long day at work. The kids are goin to church so I'm gonna relax at home. I am excited about this shirt I order on facebook. It's a page called Eddy Designs. She is great! I have ordered several things from her and it's always a great product and I always get it quick. I can't wait to wear it to Ayden's first t-ball game. Looking thru old pictures and I found this one. So cute! This is Mallorie, in pink, and Carli Eubank, in the blue, during dance class. She didnt take dance very long. Once she found t-ball she was done. I'm pretty sure they were in Pre-K. Those girls have grown up so much it kinda makes me sad. Mal has a great group of girlfriends and Carli is still one of them. Can't wait to keep watching them grow ;) Until tomorrow.......

Well not a lot today. I've been trying to go thru things in our bedroom to make room for new furniture. We have an old entertainment center that we've had FOREVER! It's time for new! Roger is building us a new dresser and tv stand and I'm so excited! We have so much crap crammed into the one we have I'm ready to pull my hair out. This is what I've done so far. Gone thru everything and put it in a basket......and set it back on the shelf. I have to get motivated and get it done by this weekend. Wish me luck! Until tomorrow.....

Only 2 weeks till the girls hit the dirt in their first tournament of the year. Yay! Practice from 11-1 today. The girls were practicing diving for the ball and I was trying to get action shots. I think she caught the ball in this pic. Their so much fun to watch, even during practice. When it was over we decided to do alittle shopping. We went to Ross where you can always find something. We all found a few things. I have several little projects I'm tryin to do around the house so I'm looking for things everywhere. I might drive myself crazy before I'm done ;) Until tomorrow......

Today was a pretty good day. Brandon had a 10 hour class for work and I cleaned and did laundry all morning. Pretty productive. Mal went to the Winter Jam concert with the youth from church. She was so excited when she left. When Brandon got home me, him and Ayden went to Norman to eat. I wanted steak so we decided on Saltgrass. It was ok. Not as good as I remember but still good. After that we went to Acadamy to find Ayden some new shoes. He goes thru them so fast it seems like we're always buying new ones. Oh well, at least he's active. Well I ended up getting myself a new pair too ;) I bought a pair of Brooks this time. My bro-in-law swears by them and he should know because he runs all kinds of marathons and ironman's and stuff like that. I hope I love them! We'll see. Until tomorrow......

Well we went to b-ball practice tonight instead of softball because Mal had pictures. Pitching/hitting 4:15, b-ball pics 6:30, practice to follow and Ayden's parent/teacher conf at 9:00. Yes, 9:00pm. But Mals practice, which is at the school gym, is usually over about 8:15 so we just we straight over and Mrs. Treadaway worked us in early. It all worked out perfect! Ayden is doing great in class! Good grades, good kid, just need to learn to sit still. Crazy kid! I didn't have one with Mals teacher. Only if she was having trouble, which she's not. Great grades also. We are so proud of our kids. An overall good day. Until tomorrow......

Today is Valentines Day. We found Ayden the perfect cards! He loves the Highlights Hidden Pictures books and we found some valentine cards that are the same thing! He was so excited! We gave the kids their stuff we would have sent to school Monday night cause they wouldn't be there Tuesday. I found the cutest pink and brown valentine hamsters to go with their stuff since they recently got hamsters. So cute. They loved them. Although today was full of love, it was also full of sadness. We laid to rest Kenneth "Grandad" Sloan. He was a great father, grandad & great-grandad. He will truly be missed but we know he is in a better place. We spent the day sharing stories, laughing, crying and just being there for each other. Just doing what family does. We Love You Grandad.

We finally got some snow overnight. Although it was melted by lunch it was still pretty. School was cancelled today so the kids got to stay home with Brandon and play in it while I got spend the day at work. Oh well, I got pics ;) Until tomorrow......

A pretty good Sunday. First Mal had practice from 11-1 then we had a little league parent meeting for Ayden at 2. After that we headed to Granny's to spend the day with the fam. We headed home alittle earlier than we wanted to so that we could beat the winter weather. Yay! I'm so happy to see snow! We don't want ice or sleet just some pretty white snow!! Guess we'll see how it looks in the morning. Until tomorrow......

Not a whole lot today. No ballgames or anything. Brandon worked this morning and me and the kids just hung out at the house. Mal and Mr. Kitty were playing rock, paper, scissors. Not sure who won ;) Once Brandon got home we loaded up and headed to Granny's to spend time with family. Until tomorrow......

Typical Friday all though a sad one. This morning Brandon's Grandad, Roger's dad, passed away. He had been in the hospital for a few weeks and today God decided it was time. It's a very sad and difficult time but we all know he is in a better place. Please pray for everyone especially Granny who has to make it here without him. Thank you........

Gotta love Thursday! Mal missed pitching cause we had no one to take her and no b-ball practice tonight so just softball practice. It started raining while we were at the facility so we got alil wet when we left. I love the rain but I hate drivin in the rain in the dark. No fun! Oh well, we need it. Ayden is still awake now cause he had alil nap on the way to practice. Crazy kid! At least tomorrow is Friday and we can all sleep in Saturday. Oh to be young again ;) Until tomorrow......

Of course I love winter! I really wish it would just be winter and not winter and spring all rolled into one. Once spring does get here, half of my plants will be dead for the year. As a lot of people, we already have things turning green and trying to grow. They are so confused! With the hard freeze coming in a few days it's not looking good for them. Oh well I guess. I'll just have to plant some new around the dead ones and hope for next year ;) Until tomorrow......

This is Ayden's teeth brushing and flossing chart. He has to take it back to school on Thursday. They are learning about their teeth right now. He has only lost 2 so far but he was so excited when he did. I think I need to keep one of these around all the time cause he has done good so far. Maybe he can keep up the good work. Meet Batty. Ayden won this cute little bat at the 2010 Am-Po school carnival and has been his best buddy since. He sleeps with him, watches tv with him and even takes trips with us. Which is ok cause he fits in the palm of my hand. We looked and looked and looked for Batty the other day because Ayden forget where he left him. He was so upset. The world was over. Batty was gone. I had one last thought, the car. Sure enough we found him in the very back cuddled under the blanket. Ayden could live again! We thought we lost him again today but thank gosh he was just hiding on the kitchen table with Ayden's stuff ;) He is our best pet lol. Until tomorrow.....

Well it's finally here, Super Bowl Sunday! I love college football but I'm not a huge NFL fan. The super bowl commercials are what I look forward to. They were pretty good this year but I love, love, love the M&M one! So funny! I was worried about Madonna being the half-time performance but she actually did really good. Kinda cheesy but it was good. We didn't really care who won because the Broncos or Cowboys weren't playing. It ended up being a good game to watch though. There's always next year. A usual Saturday. Up early with Ayden cause for some reason he doesn't wanna sleep in. Clean house, catch up on some DVR and get ready for basketball. Mal had two games today. They won both but the second one wasn't pretty. Oh well, a W is a W. Between games we ran to target where I finally spent my Christmas gift card. I bought myself a new awesome crockpot! Yes, I get excited about a new crockpot ;) It's programable for 4, 6 or 8 hours. And when time is up it switches over to warm so food doesn't dry out or burn. I can't wait to use it! T.G.I.F. It's been a long week! I worked till 7pm cause one of the girls came in feeling bad, turns out she has strep. Hope she feels better soon. Day 27 Wednesday February 1, 2012

Well one month is over and on to the next. Not a bad day for a Wednesday. I did get to end it on a great note. My sister called and we chit chatted for about an hour. I feel like I haven't talked to her in Forever! Since she started her new job she works different hours all the time so we don't get to talk and hang out like we're use to. We stay busy, she stays busy, things happen and now I'm having withdrawals from my family lol. We at least see each other, including my parents, on the weekends and now that has not happened in awhile. We gotta step it up! My mom told me the other day how she likes my blog because she can still keep up with our daily lives ;) I'm glad it's workin out. Oh well, we all know we're still here. We'll talk and get together when we can and catch up then. I have the greatest family!! Until tomorrow......
